Why? (Part seven of several)

Fun!

For part seven in this arbitrary-length series, I’d like to point out the (to me intuitively obvious) fact that bicycling is just plain fun! There is a reason that cycling is a common sport and an almost universally popular form of recreation: it’s an innately enjoyable activity. Ask any kid old enough to talk, and they’ll tell you how much they love their bike, trike, scooter, big wheel, etc. Heaven knows, I can’t keep my daughter away from anything with wheels, especially if it’s short enough for her to climb on top and scoot around.

If you haven’t ridden a bike since childhood, you’re definitely missing out. It’s true that you never forget how…although you might want to practice a little in a parking lot before merging into traffic. ;)
