Isn’t Biketown, U.S.A. already more than adequately represented in the blogosphere? Well, yes and no. While there does exist a veritable cornucopia of websites related to bicycling here in the Rose City, there is arguably a dearth of web resources specifically devoted to bicycle commuting in the Portland area – more specifically, devoted to giving advice and encouragement to prospective and newly-minted bicycle commuters. Okay, more honestly, I just can’t shut up until I’ve put in my two cents’ worth and then some.
So tune in over the next few days and weeks as this blog begins to take shape, and with any luck, becomes an invaluable resource for those contemplating the move to pedal power. More to come soon!
